Medical Staff

Marion R. McMillan MD

Dr. McMillan is board certified in Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine, and fellowship trained in Pain Management. He has practiced pain management in upstate South Carolina for eleven years, and has been in full time Pain Management practice since 2000. Dr. McMillan is a published author in the field, and implanted the first spinal cord stimulator in upstate SC in 1994. He introduced laser disc decompression to the the Carolinas and Georgia for the non-surgical treatment of low back pain and sciatica in 2003.

Administrative Staff

Tammy Chambers, Practice Manager

After 8 years of faithful service, Tammy recently assumed the administrative leadership of Foothill Regional Pain Center and Upstate Pain Management and Surgery Center as Practice Manager of both. She directs and implements all administrative staff and clinical activities of the practice in conjunction with the Nurse Manager and Medical Director. Tammy ensures that both practices are compliant with all applicable State and Federal regulations and compliance programs. Tammy is a career insurance professional, and is available to help resolve any issues related to access to pain management care and reimbursement issues.

Tiffany Deaton – Insurance Billing and Receptionist

Tiffany manages accounts receivable and account maintenance for the Foothills practice. Her other duties include Receptionist for Foothills Regional Pain Center and Upstate Pain Management and Surgery Center.

Miranda McAlister – Receptionist and Medical Records Clerk

Miranda assists patients with scheduling and also handles medical records

Niki Addis; Chief Financial Officer and Insurance Clerk
Niki assists patients with insurance claims and coordination as well as Company financial matters.

Nursing Staff

Dorothy Ryer – Staff Nurse

Dorothy is a graduate of the Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing and began her career in Surgery there. She also has clinical nursing experience in OB-GYN, Family Practice, and Pediatrics. Pain management is her most recent area of professional interest, and she has been instrumental in the refinement and application of techniques and procedures for laser disc surgery and implantable technologies for pain management.

Kari Green; Surgical Technician
A 2006 graduate of Piedmont Technical College, Kari worked with the heart team at Anderson Area Medical Center and has experience in general surgery.
